INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades Project located at 4646 John St, Detroit, Michigan 48201 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The scope of this project includes but is not limited to the following: The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the removal and replacement of all existing data cabling, supporting infrastructure, and data closets with new CAT6a data cabling and the supporting infrastructure to upgrade the facilities electric and IT infrastructure to allow for the new Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) syst ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation For Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 14 and and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation will be issued in late September of 2023. The period of performance is approximately 540 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $20,000,000.00 and $50,000,000.00.
