Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for the remodel of Building 88 at the Roseburg VA Medical Center, located at 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd, Roseburg, OR. The goal of this contract is to transform the building from a Substance Abuse Residential Rehabilitation Treatment domiciliary (SRRTP) into a Community Living Center (CLC) Space. This project is part of the VA's mission to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction services required to complete this project. The work includes remodeling within the building envelope (A, B, C, D, E Wings), exterior hardscape and softscape improvements, installation of a Tub-room, a building-wide Nurse Call system, an Oxygen supply and distribution system, and patient lifts.

General construction tasks will encompass mechanical, electrical, masonry work, seismic non-structural improvements, fire systems installation, communication systems setup, engineering tasks, and commissioning activities. All work must comply with the Statement of Work (SOW), specifications, and drawings attached to this solicitation.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is 365 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Roseburg VA Medical Center located at 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd, Roseburg, OR.
