Background
The Veterans Affairs (VA) Spokane Healthcare System is issuing this contract to renovate the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) located in Building 1 of the Mann-Grandstaff Medical Center in Spokane, WA. The goal of this contract is to enhance the functionality and safety of the SPS by addressing various deficiencies and ensuring compliance with current standards. This procurement is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, supplies, services, and equipment to complete the renovation of 1,200 square feet in the SPS department. The work includes correcting deficiencies from a previous minor project and addressing architectural and life safety concerns, mechanical/HVAC systems, electrical power distribution, plumbing omissions, water distribution inefficiencies, and data system deficiencies.

Specific tasks include:
- Installation of new systems as per drawings and specifications.
- Field verification of existing conditions.
- Providing a qualified manufacturer's representative for installation checks.
- Conducting operational tests in the presence of the VA's representative.
- Delivering commissioning documentation and training for VA personnel.
- Providing one-year warranty on materials and installation.

Period of Performance
The total project duration shall be 180 calendar days from the date of award.
