Background
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 20, intends to issue a Request for Proposals on behalf of Mann-Grandstaff VAMC, Spokane, WA, on or about November 10, 2023 to interested sources to provide the following: Refurbish and Upgrade Elevators in Bldg. 1 and 27. This procurement will be advertised as an open market, Small business set-aside. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the complete removal and replacement of all elevator equipment for elevators P1, P2, S3 and P4 in the elevator hoistway and the elevator machine room at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. The total project duration shall be 900 calendar days.

The contractor is responsible for providing construction services to include labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision and other services necessary for the project.

Period of Performance
The completion date is based on the assumption that the successful offeror will receive the notice to proceed by TBD. The completion date will be extended by the number of calendar days after the above date that the Contractor receives the notice to proceed. The contract performance period is 900 calendar days after receipt of written Notice to Proceed.
