Background
The Boise VA Medical Center is in need of remodeling its existing Computed Tomography (CT) services to provide a suite appropriate for the installation and operation of a new CT scanner, its appurtenances, a storage room, a control room, and minimal renovations to the existing adjacent scanner room (G14). The contractor is required to provide all materials, equipment, labor, quality control, and supervision necessary to renovate and remodel the specified area.

Work Details
The scope of work includes remodeling rooms G13, G13A, and G14 in Building 85. This involves demolition, structural work, creation of new wall systems, fenestrations, flooring, painting, ceiling systems, architectural finish work, mill work, mechanical systems digital control, plumbing, medical gas, fire proofing, electrical work, telecommunications, security, fire alarm installation, and fire protection sprinkler work.
Additionally, construction safety, infection control and site security are prime requirements of the work.
