The purpose of this amendment is to extend the bid due date and time and answer RFIs. BID DUE DATE: 07/14/2025 BID DUE TIME: 2:00PM EST Ensure an email address to be invited to the Teams Bid Opening is included in the bid submission email. Bid Opening will be at 2:30PM EST. REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION: There are two dates for bid submissions please clarify the due date and time See above If we set up the crane in the loading dock are to load/unload the roofs - can we leave the crane wet up or will we have to break it down every day? A couple of times a week? No cranes will be left up during the week in the loading dock area. Crane can be left up over the weekends. Please confirm the style/model of the required Onyx on the shower walls. ONYX Collection, color Tiramisu Regarding the Bid Form, please confirm the entire Project is one (1) Lump Sum. THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY: No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to notify potential Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SVOSBs), in accordance with the requirements of Public Law 109-461 of this requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration intends to issue a solicitation entitled, 9th Floor Mental Health Renovation, on or about June 5, 2025, unless additional notice is given, or this notice is modified or cancelled. The Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center has a requirement for Renovate 9th Floor Mental Health, Project# 693-19-106. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, expertise, administration, supervision transportation and anything else necessary to perform all work as described in project Scope of Work, Drawings, Specifications, and all other attachments to the solicitation. The full solicitation, specifications, drawings, and all other attachments will be posted on Contract Opportunities at SAM.gov. The acquisition type for this solicitation will be Invitation for Bid (IFB) and will be awarded as a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) primary code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the 2022 SBA Size Standard is $45.0M. The Construction Cost Range for this project (Magnitude of Construction) is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. Only verified SDVOSB firms are eligible to submit an offer or receive an award of a VA contract that is set-aside for SDVOSB in accordance with VAAR Part 819. To be eligible for award, the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified at SBA VetCert (https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/). A non-verified vendor that submits a bid or proposal will be rejected as non-responsive. Interested firms must also have a current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov and have completed online Representations and Certifications prior to contract award. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed but will be posted at the website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the solicitation from Contract Opportunities and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation. Interested offerors are asked to please first read over the RFP and all its associated attachments/documents in their entirety prior to forwarding any questions/Requests for Information (RFI s) to the Contracting Officer. A cut-off time/date for receipt of questions will be established and listed in the RFP as well as a time/date for the scheduled Site Visit. Only one Site Visit will be conducted and no requests for additional Site Visits or make-up Site Visits will be granted.
