Background
The contract is issued by the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center located in Spokane, Washington. The mission of the VA Medical Center is to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans.

The goal of this contract, identified as Project No. 668-24-104, is to replace wayfinding signage across the entire campus to improve navigation and accessibility for patients and visitors, ensuring compliance with current wayfinding standards as outlined in the VA Signage Manual PG-18-10.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and documentation necessary for the project. Key tasks include:

- Removing existing interior and exterior wayfinding signage;
- Procuring new signage;
- Installing new signposts, monument signs, building designations, and directional signage;
- Restoring areas where signs are removed to match existing finishes;
- Ensuring that all signage complies with the VA Signage Manual PG-18-10;
- Adhering to infection control measures during construction;
- Coordinating utility shutdowns with advance notice;
- Providing shop drawings for approval prior to construction; and
- Maintaining access for patients and staff during work.

The project also includes a pre-proposal site visit, adherence to applicable codes and standards from the VA’s Technical Information Library (TIL), and submission of various plans including a Construction Security Plan, Infection Control Plan, Quality Control Plan, and Environmental Protection Plan.

Period of Performance
The total project duration is set for 250 calendar days from the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
All construction activities will take place at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.
