THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE; THE VA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS. Solicitation 36C26024R0014 for project 648-20-113 Structural Repair Bldg. 102 and 103 Connection for the Portland VA Healthcare System shall be posted to Federal Contracting Opportunities on or about 18 March 2024. The solicitation shall be posted for full and open competition after total set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. Drawings and specs will be posted for review as attachments to the solicitation. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after the solicitation is posted. Period of Performance: The intended contract period of performance is for 180 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Description of Services: The VA Portland Health Care System seeks a Contractor to prepare the site for construction and coordinate all demolition and construction activities, (material & labor), as required by the project s drawings and specifications. The project scope of work includes the line items as listed below: LINE ITEM 0001: The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, and all other resources necessary to complete drainage improvements and waterproofing for the 3 bridge connections, as illustrated and described in the project construction drawings and specifications. LINE ITEM 0002: The Contractor shall provide material and labor to complete repair and corrosion mitigation, (rust and fireproofing removal, steel connection repairs, and install of new fireproofing), to the structural beam connections as illustrated in the project construction drawings and specifications. Work for this project will take place at the parking garage and exterior area of the Portland VA Medical Center located at 3710 SW U.S. Veterans Hospital Rd., Portland, OR 97239. The area of work includes 3 separate connection paths to Building 102 and Building 103, as specified in the project construction drawings. IAW FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the small business size standard is $45.0 million. The Government is not soliciting offers at this time. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. A solicitation is not currently available. This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract.
Background

Work Details
