Page 2 of 2 The VA Tennessee Valley Health Care System (TVHS), 1310 24th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37212-2637 has a requirement to Project Number 626-25-102 Apheresis-Mohs Storage Room Compliance Upgrade. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to accomplish the work for this project, including architectural, plumbing, controls, mechanical, electrical power/systems, construction, alterations, necessary removal of selective existing construction and certain other items to complete the project; to the satisfaction of the VA and Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Relating to Project 626-25-102 Apheresis-Mohs Storage Room Compliance Upgrade at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS), Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1310 24th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37212. All work performed shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, codes, VA policies/regulations, specifications, and the SOW as outlined below: Install three (3) constant volume DDC VAV boxes (one (1) box per closet). Include all necessary ducts from nearest medium pressure duct, ceiling diffusers, and duct insulation for new duct and repair adjacent insulation as needed. Provide controls to the three (3) constant volume DDC VAV boxes and connect boxes into the Siemens head in control system. Install re-heat piping from the adjacent rooms to the new VAV boxes. Install insulation for pipes and repair adjacent insulation as needed. Patch/repair any wall surfaces that have been damaged or altered as a part of this project. Painting, caulking, and fire-caulking will be required. Provide VA COR with before and after photos of the work. Any damaged noted at the completion of the work will be the responsibility of the contractor to repair, unless damage was identified before work commences. The new VAV boxes will need to be tested and balanced by a certified professional at the end of the installation. The period of performance will be 60 calendar days. PRODUCT/SERVICE CODE: Y1DA Construction of Hospitals and Infirmaries This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C. section 8127(d). NAICS Code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, applies to this requirement. The small business size standard is $45M. The estimated range of construction is Between $25,000 and $100,000. This requirement will be procured per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14.101 Sealed Bidding. The evaluation factors under consideration for this requirement will be available upon the solicitation release, which is anticipated to be posted on or around 14 April 2025. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C 8127 (d). Only those SDVOSB s listed and viewable in the SBA database located at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/. The database will be checked at the time of offer submission as well as prior to award. All offers must also have an active listing in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. In addition to the requirements as set forth in the solicitation notice (to be issued), the proposed contractor must also be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer will determine responsibility prior to any award being made.
