Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for the renovation of space for oncology at the Colmery-O'Neil Veterans Administration Medical Center in Topeka, Kansas. The goal of this contract is to improve the current oncology area, which does not meet requirements and limits patient care capacity. The project aims to enhance the facility's ability to serve veterans effectively.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the renovation of the oncology space. This includes:

1. General construction and alterations as per provided drawings.
2. Removal of portions of existing structures.
3. Installation of structural, mechanical, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection systems.
4. Commissioning of oncology systems.
5. Production of as-built drawings in PDF format.
6. Compliance with all applicable standards and VA specifications.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is 310 days after the Notice to Proceed.
