Background
The contract is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically for the Office of Information Technology (OIT). The mission of this project is to enhance and upgrade the existing infrastructure, including critical systems such as electrical, HVAC, and communication networks.

The goal is to ensure that the facilities meet modern standards for efficiency and security while supporting the operational needs of the agency.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish labor and materials to perform modifications to existing Technical Rooms (TRs) and OIT infrastructure. Key tasks include:

- Upgrading electrical panels and power systems (both normal and emergency)
- Implementing bonding measures
- Installing Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
- Integrating Building Management System (BAS) interfaces
- Assessing and upgrading HVAC systems
- Reconfiguring and expanding existing spaces through demolition and new construction
- Enhancing communication infrastructure with new data outlets and patch panels using Cat 6A cabling
- Upgrading physical security measures
- Assessing fiber infrastructure campus-wide
- Installing diversified paths for Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity
- Conducting hazardous material abatement.

Specific project locations include buildings 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 20, 35, 36, 37, 39/44, 45 and site.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at various locations within the Grand Junction area in Colorado.
