This pre-solicitation notice is for Solicitation Number 36C2422B0036 - Project Number 561A4-20-105 Install Lab Hood at the VA New Jersey Healthcare Systems (NJHCS) Lyons Campus at 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, N.J. 07939. This requirement shall be a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all responsible SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $39.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. 1.Scope: Furnish professional construction services for replacement of existing fume hood and related HVAC Equipment in Building 1 lab at the VA NJ Health Care System, Lyons, NJ. and items show on drawings provided 2.. Performance Monitoring (if applicable). The designated COR will monitor the contract performance and make sure the contractor adheres to VA standards and designated project milestones as well as provide all necessary support required to complete the subject design. 3. Security Requirements. The contractor employees shall not have access to VA sensitive or computer information. The contactor / A/E will be required to undergo a background investigation and will be issued a government PIV flash badge. This procedure is conducted by the C.O.R. and PIV staff. The designated COR will certify the work done under the contract shall be performed to time and standard. Designated COR is also responsible to assure the inspection and acceptance of products provided incidental to services. 4. Risk Control The chosen firm shall provide a phasing and ICRA (infectious control risk assessment plan complying to drawings and specifications. 5. Place of Performance. Place of performance shall be at 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, NJ, 07939 6.. Period of Performance. 240 Days from the NTP date, in addition to the Construction Period Service.
