Background
The contract is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project in Kerrville. The goal of the contract is to enhance the infrastructure of specific buildings to support the VA's mission of providing high-quality healthcare services. This includes comprehensive upgrades to electrical systems, HVAC, communications, and physical security measures.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for preparing the site for building operations, which includes demolition and removal of existing structures. The scope of work encompasses:
- Electrical upgrades including panel upgrades and power systems (normal and emergency).
- Bonding and UPS installation.
- Integration with Building Management Systems.
- New or upgraded HVAC systems.
- Reconfiguration, expansion, and renovation of existing spaces including demolition, new construction, finishes, and cable management.
- Renovation for a Data Center with expanded space and server rack configuration.
- Installation of new data outlets, patch panels, and upgrade to Cat 6A cabling as necessary across buildings.
- Physical security upgrades throughout the campus.
- Upgrading fiber infrastructure backbone campus-wide within buildings and between buildings.
- Providing diversified paths for WAN connectivity.
- Hazardous materials abatement as required.

Period of Performance
The entire project must be completed no later than 730 calendar days after the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at various buildings including 1, 2, 11, 18, 29, 46, 96 in Kerrville.
