Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration (NCA), is issuing an Invitation for BID (IFB) for the Long Island National Cemetery, under Project No. 815CM3041. The contract is a 100% competitive Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in accordance with the Veterans First Program, 38 USC 8127 and 8128. The work involves Facility Renovation, Improvements, and Repairs at the Long Island National Cemetery, NY.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and professional supervision for various construction tasks including commitment shelters, public restroom/comfort station, columbarium plaza, irrigation well, pump house, cemetery signage, section markers, floral/trash/water stations, maintenance building conversion to public information center, office building conversion to public information center, cortege lanes, bronze plaques, road/curb/stormwater work, and tree work. The work must be completed in strict accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), Specifications, Drawings, and the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance is Five Hundred and Fifty (550) Calendar Days after Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Long Island National Cemetery located at 2040 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York, 11735.
