Background
The contract is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the construction of a new maintenance building at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
The goal of this project is to implement the existing cemetery masterplan, enhancing the facilities and infrastructure to better serve the needs of the cemetery.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Construction of a new Maintenance Building, Wash Bay, Vehicle Storage, Covered Parking, and Headstone Storage buildings.
2. Installation of Above Ground Fuel Storage for gas, diesel, and propane.
3. Associated supporting infrastructure including paving and sidewalk improvements.
4. Fencing and gates installation.
5. Demolition of existing maintenance buildings and associated infrastructure.
6. Site remediation and miscellaneous work as described in the Statement of Work (SOW).
7. General conditions include conducting all work during normal business hours (8:00 am to 4:30 pm) Monday through Friday, except Federal Holidays; surveying the site before demolition; establishing construction limits; providing erosion control measures; performing site grading and finishing; landscaping with turf or seed grass sod; and ensuring thorough cleanup at the end of each workday.
