Background: The contract is for the design and construction of a Musculo-Skeletal Center at Building 51. The contracting activity or contract administration is convened by the VA. The contract is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) utilizing the two-phase design-build selection procedures. The contract will be awarded to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concern.

Details: The tasks/services to be completed under the contract include:

1. Design & Construction Documents: The contractor shall provide the complete design of the site improvements detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW). This includes providing drawings, specifications, construction cost estimates, and other necessary documents for construction.

2. Construction: The contractor shall provide all construction-related activities such as pre-construction, site-prep, general construction, alterations, necessary removal of existing structures, renovations, post-construction services, commissioning, project close-out, and any other required elements of work to demolish Building 51 and associated utilities. This also includes performing all required elements of work according to the Solicitation, SOW, Specifications, and all attachments.
