Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, part of the U.S. Department of the Interior, is responsible for managing water resources in the western United States.

The Yuma Valley Levee Road Repair project aims to repair and maintain critical infrastructure to ensure effective water management and flood control in the region. This contract is essential for preserving the integrity of the levee system and supporting the local community's safety and environmental sustainability.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, services, and facilities to perform the work as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) and accompanying drawings and pictures. The work includes but is not limited to:

- Mobilization of personnel and equipment;
- Establishment of site facilities;
- Repair or alteration of highways, roads, streets, bridges, or railways as detailed in Attachment 1 - Statement of Work;
- Compliance with safety regulations including OSHA standards;
- Submission of a written proposed safety program if required;
- Maintaining accurate records of any incidents;
- Ensuring that all work is performed under sanitary and safe conditions.

The Contractor must also prepare a construction plan that includes a schedule, personnel list, certifications, equipment list, quality control plan, and demonstrate past performance on similar projects.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period starting from the award date and lasting approximately 46 days.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Yuma Area Office located at 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, AZ 85364-9763.
