Background
The National Park Service (NPS), Denver Service Center (DSC), is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for the construction services related to the replacement of the Tuolumne Meadows Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at Yosemite National Park in California. This project aims to replace an outdated 50-year-old WWTP that serves various facilities within the park, including a campground and visitor center. The goal is to enhance wastewater treatment capabilities to support park operations during the operational months of late May to October.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:

1. Replacement of the existing extended aeration WWTP and associated infrastructure, which consists of two disposal ponds, a force main connecting the WWTP to these ponds, an effluent spray field, and a recreational vehicle dump station.

2. Demolition of the existing plant and one disposal pond, with replacement of the second pond with an enclosed holding tank.

3. Replacement of the force main and recreational vehicle dump station.

4. Upgrading treated effluent disposal spray field equipment with new lower maintenance alternatives.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is 2,190 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
