Background
The Department of Interior (DOI), National Park Service (NPS), Denver Service Center (DSC) is planning to replace the existing 50-year-old wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) at Tuolumne Meadows, located in Yosemite National Park, California. This project aims to enhance wastewater management for various facilities within the park, including a campground, lodge, store, ranger station, day-use parking area, and visitor center.

Work Details
The construction services project includes the following tasks:

- Replacing the existing extended aeration WWTP and associated infrastructure;
- Demolishing the current plant;
- Replacing one disposal pond with an enclosed holding tank;
- Demolishing another pond;
- Replacing the force main that connects the WWTP to the disposal ponds;
- Replacing the existing treated effluent disposal spray field equipment with new lower maintenance spray equipment.

The project will ensure improved wastewater treatment capabilities for the facilities served by the plant.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is expected to begin after the solicitation release on October 16, 2025, and will continue through the duration of construction activities as determined by project timelines.
