Sources Sought for Multiple Award Construction Contract, Various Locations in Hawaii   6

This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is for sources sought purposes, to solicit information from potential qualified Small Businesses. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii, Construction Acquisition Division is seeking information on establishing a new Multiple Award Construction Contract. The work includes, but is not limited to labor, supervision, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform new construction, repair, alteration and related demolition of existing infrastructure based on Design-Build or Design-Bid-Build (Full Plans and Specifications) for infrastructure within the State of Hawaii. Infrastructure is defined as: 1) residential building construction; 2) construction for industrial buildings and warehouses; 3) nonresidential buildings, other than industrial buildings and warehouses; 4) improvements such as utilities, landscaping, airfields and roadways; or 5) waterfront work on piers, wharves, caissons, and dry docks. The areas of consideration will include, but not be limited to, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and miscellaneous Federal and other facilities. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. DO NOT SUBMIT A PROPOSAL, BROCHURES OR ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OTHER THAN WHAT IS REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. Interested parties are solely responsible for all costs and expenses associated with their respective response to this sources sought notice. This is a sources sought announcement and is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.
