Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the rehabilitation of the Painted Desert Community Complex under project number PEFO 267538. This acquisition is being competed on a Full and Open Basis, with an estimated construction magnitude of over $10 million. The goal of this contract is to enhance and restore the facilities within the Painted Desert area, aligning with NPS's mission to preserve natural and cultural resources.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various construction tasks related to the rehabilitation of the Painted Desert Community Complex. Specific requirements include:

1) Performing all work as described in sections B through J and attachments noted in section J;

2) Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations;

3) Providing performance and payment bonds as required;

4) Completing the work within a specified timeframe after receiving notice to proceed;

5) Participation in a pre-proposal site visit as outlined in section L;

6) Submitting proposals that demonstrate commitment to small business participation.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award and must complete it within 600 calendar days thereafter.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Painted Desert Community Complex, located within the jurisdiction of the National Park Service.
