Sloan Canyon Contact Station Construction & Delegated Design   4

Background
The United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, National Operations Center is issuing a pre-solicitation notice for the construction and delegated design of the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area Visitor Center Contact Station. The project location is at 2998 Nawghaw Poa Road, Henderson, NV 89044. The magnitude of construction is greater than $10M, and the estimated period of performance is 760 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The solicitation is set aside for total small businesses only.

Work Details
The requirement consists of all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct a 3,000 square foot visitor contact facility that includes an indoor exhibit space, outdoor amphitheater, ½ mile interpretive hiking loop, and an interpretive hiking station. Additional tasks include installation of a perimeter fence at 3 locations, construction of an interpretive loop shade structure, construction of an amphitheater shade structure, construction of a dumpster site with screen walls, construction of a stub-out for future electrical gate, and installation of an EV charging station.
Delegated design for the water service is also required to complete the water service design and obtain necessary approvals, permits, and fees.

The estimated period of performance for the contract is 760 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area in Henderson, Nevada.
