Background
The National Park Service (NPS) at Sequoia and Kings Canyon (SEKI) is seeking to rehabilitate the Ash Mountain Helibase. This project aims to replace the existing Helibase building, which has been in place since the 1970s, with a new structure that meets current operational standards and requirements.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Demolition of the existing Helibase building.
2. Construction of a new Helibase building, which encompasses:
- Grading, drainage, landscaping, and paving around the building.
- Building construction including foundation, floors, walls, roof, windows, doors, interior and exterior finishes, and casework.
- Installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and fire alarm systems.
3. Five Option Items:
- Option 1: New Water System involving replacement of the existing water tank with a larger tank and all necessary connections and surface preparation.
- Option 2: Installation of an Oil/Water Separator at the Helipads including all connections and surface preparation.
- Option 3: Additional Site Work related to gravel parking area and dry-stack stone retaining wall; asphalt driveway and parking improvements.
- Option 4: Construction of a Temporary Shade Structure including grading, surface preparation, structural posts and foundations.
- Option 5: Installation of a Lightning Protection system requiring supervision, labor, equipment, testing, and supplies as per project specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is from August 30, 2025 to August 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park located at 47050 Generals Highway, Three Rivers CA 93271.
