SC Multi Parks (CONG, COWP, KIMO, NISI) - Pavement Preservation   2

Background
The National Park Service (NPS), through the Denver Service Center (DSC), is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for construction services related to pavement preservation at multiple parks in South Carolina, specifically Congaree National Park (CONG), Cowpens National Battlefield (COWP), Kimbell's Mill Historic Site (KIMO), and Ninety Six National Historic Site (NISI).

This project aims to enhance the infrastructure and accessibility of these parks, aligning with NPS's mission to preserve natural and cultural resources.

Work Details
The scope of work includes pavement preservation activities at Congaree National Park, Cowpens National Battlefield, Kimbell's Mill Historic Site, and Ninety Six National Historic Site.

The work will involve tasks associated with highway, street, and bridge construction. Specific tasks may include resurfacing, sealing, and other maintenance activities necessary to extend the life of existing pavements.

Period of Performance
132 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
South Carolina at Congaree National Park, Cowpens National Battlefield, Kimbell's Mill Historic Site, and Ninety Six National Historic Site.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be small businesses as this is a Small Business Set-Aside contract. They are required to provide bid, performance, and payment bonds. Additionally, contractors must possess a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number.
