ROMO 327127 Bridge Preservation
Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the ROMO 327127 Bridge Preservation project. The goal of this contract is to preserve and maintain the structural integrity of various bridges within the park, ensuring safety and accessibility for visitors while protecting park resources. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses, with an estimated price range between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various construction tasks related to bridge preservation, including but not limited to:
- Bridge preservation construction;
- Scour countermeasure placement;
- In-water work performed by the project team;
- Compliance with U.S. Army Corps standards for materials;
- Development of a dewatering proposal;
- Coordination with local wildlife protection regulations, including surveys for migratory birds and other protected species;
- Scheduling work to avoid impacts on livery operations and seasonal closures;
- Providing a detailed technical approach that includes logistics, coordination, process execution while minimizing impacts to park resources and visitors.

Specific locations include Bowen/Baker Trail Culvert, Gubbins-Johnson Access Culvert, In-Holder Access Culvert, Coyote Valley Trail Culvert, Big Thompson River Bridge, Aspenglen Campground Bridge, Chiquita Creek Bridge among others.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award and complete it within 60 calendar days thereafter.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in various locations within the National Park Service jurisdiction.
