Rockfall Mitigation Hoover Dam - IDIQ   5

Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, is issuing this solicitation for the Rockfall Mitigation project at Hoover Dam. The purpose of this contract is to provide necessary construction services to mitigate rockfall risks at the dam, ensuring safety and structural integrity. This project is a total Small Business set-aside, with an estimated total contract value of $5,000,000 over a five-year ordering period.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, services, and facilities required to perform the work specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Key tasks include:
- Rock scaling and bolting to stabilize rock formations.
- Installation of fence barriers and mesh/cabling systems to prevent rockfall.
- Mobilization and preparatory work necessary for site establishment.
- Compliance with safety standards as outlined by OSHA and Bureau of Reclamation guidelines.
- Submission of weekly certified payrolls for all labor involved in the project.
- Adherence to bonding requirements as specified in Section H.2 of the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a five-year ordering period during which individual task orders will be issued with specific performance periods determined at the task order level.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Hoover Dam, located on the border between Nevada and Arizona.
