Background
The project titled 'Rehabilitate Painted Desert Community Complex' is issued by the National Park Service (NPS) for the Petrified Forest National Park (PEFO). The goal of this contract is to rehabilitate the Painted Desert Community Complex, which serves as a visitor center and administrative building adjacent to the North Entrance of the park. Work Details
The scope of work includes rehabilitation tasks across multiple buildings within the Painted Desert Community Complex. Specific areas of focus include:
1) Visitor Center/Admin Building,
2) Maintenance Building,
3) Vehicle Storage Building,
4) Photovoltaic Array at Vehicle Shade Structure,
5) Central Plaza,
6) Community Building,
7) School Building,
8) Housing Block A, and
9) Housing Block C. The project will involve site tours to assess conditions and plan for necessary improvements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed following the pre-proposal site visit scheduled for September 12, 2024.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Painted Desert Community Complex located adjacent to the North Entrance of Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona, approximately 23 miles northeast of Holbrook.
