Background
The project is located at North Cascades National Park Service Complex, 4.5 miles from Stehekin, WA. The project aims to establish a base of operations for firefighting efforts, including a storage and operations command facility (Fire Cache), housing for firefighting personnel (Dorm), and the necessary water, wastewater, and power utilities to support these facilities.

Work Details
The project consists of three parts: Utilities, Fire Cache, and Dormitory. The Utilities scope of work includes extending power distribution lines, providing a new water storage tank, rehabilitating an existing groundwater well, new water distribution for fire suppression and domestic use, and installing a new septic system.

The Fire Cache scope of work includes constructing a new 3,019 square foot Fire Station-Cache-Operations building. The Fire Dormitory scope of work includes constructing a new 3,705 square foot dormitory to house 8 to 16 personnel in eight bedrooms with the ability to house up to 20 personnel on a short-term basis.

Period of Performance
The Contractor shall commence work within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete the entire work within 575 calendar days after the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at North Cascades National Park Service Complex near Stehekin, WA.
