NGWSP PUMPING PLANTS 2&3   4

Background
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Four Corners Construction Office (FCCO), is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for a contemplated construction project titled: San Juan Lateral Pumping Plants 2 & 3. The project is part of the Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project (NGWSP), which aims to convey a reliable municipal and industrial water supply from the San Juan River to the eastern section of the Navajo Nation, southwestern portion of the Jicarilla Apache Nation, and the city of Gallup, New Mexico via about 280 miles of pipeline, several pumping plants, and two water treatment plants.

Work Details
The principal components of work for Pumping Plants 2 & 3 include constructing various components such as access roads, metal buildings, vertical centrifugal can-type pumps, steel manifold piping, air chambers, electrical systems, water storage tanks, precast concrete manholes and vaults, SCADA system, and continuous chlorine residual sampling system.

Place of Performance
For Pumping Plant 2, work is located approximately 15 miles south of Shiprock, NM and 4 miles east of U.S. Highway 491 in San Juan County.
For Pumping Plant 3, work is located approximately 22 miles south of Shiprock, NM in San Juan County.
