Background
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Four Corners Construction Office (FCCO) is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for a construction project titled the Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project (NGWSP) Pumping Plant 1 (PP1). This project aims to provide a reliable municipal and industrial water supply from the San Juan River to various regions including the eastern section of the Navajo Nation, southwestern portion of the Jicarilla Apache Nation, and the city of Gallup, New Mexico. The project will involve significant infrastructure development including pipelines and treatment plants.

Work Details
The principal components of work for Pumping Plant No. 1 include:

1. Access/Haul Road Regrading and Resurfacing;
2. Metal Building construction;
3. Installation of Vertical Centrifugal Can-Type Pumping Systems;
4. Fabrication and installation of Steel Manifold Piping;
5. Construction of Air Chambers;
6. Development of an Electrical System;
7. Installation of a Precast Concrete Vault;
8. Implementation of a Control System.

Place of Performance
The work will be located south of the San Juan River, approximately 13 miles west of Farmington, New Mexico in San Juan County.
