Background
The Bureau of Reclamation is issuing this solicitation for the construction of Pumping Plant No. 1 as part of the Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project in New Mexico. The project aims to enhance water supply infrastructure to meet the needs of the region, ensuring reliable delivery of raw water to the San Juan Water Treatment Plant.

The contract's goal is to construct a pumping plant that efficiently meets operational demands while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for constructing Pumping Plant No. 1, which includes:
1. Access/Haul Road Regrading and Resurfacing
2. Metal Building construction
3. Installation of Vertical Centrifugal Can-Type Pumping Systems
4. Fabrication and installation of Steel Manifold Piping
5. Construction of Air Chambers
6. Development of an Electrical System
7. Installation of Precast Concrete Vaults
8. Implementation of a Control System.

Additionally, the contractor must ensure compliance with environmental regulations, coordinate with other contractors working in the vicinity, and manage safety protocols throughout the construction process.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period begins within 2 calendar days after award and must be completed within 90 calendar days.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place south of the San Juan River, approximately 13 miles west of Farmington, New Mexico in San Juan County.
