NAVAJO GALLUP WATER SUPPLY PROJECT (NGWSP) SAN JUAN LATERAL WATER TREATMENT PLANT (SJLWTP)
Background
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Four Corners Construction Office (FCCO), is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for a contemplated construction project titled: San Juan Lateral Water Treatment Plant (SJLWTP). The Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project (NGWSP) is a major infrastructure project that once constructed, will convey a reliable municipal and industrial water supply from the San Juan River to the eastern section of the Navajo Nation, southwestern portion of the Jicarilla Apache Nation, and the city of Gallup, New Mexico via about 280 miles of pipeline, several pumping plants, and two water treatment plants.

Work Details
The principal components of work include the design, building, startup, testing, and commissioning of a new 18.8 million gallons per day (MGD) water treatment plant and associated components with capability to expand to 37.6 MGD. Minor component of work also includes the potential repair of the San Juan Lateral which will be incidental to performance and will be paid separately through its own Time & Materials CLIN to reduce offeror risk at time of phase two proposals.

Place of Performance
Work for the SJLWTP is located south of Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Route 36 (N36) approximately 6.1 miles east of the intersection of U.S. Highway 491 and N36. The intersection of U.S. Highway 491 and N36 is approximately 4 miles south of Shiprock, New Mexico, in San Juan County.
