Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of waterlines at Morefield, located within Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado. The project aims to enhance the water infrastructure to support park operations and visitor services. This acquisition is being conducted as a Small Business Set Aside, with an expected construction magnitude between $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete replacement of existing waterlines at Morefield. This includes excavation, installation of new piping systems, backfilling, and restoration of disturbed areas.

The contractor must ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding construction practices and environmental protection. All work must be performed in accordance with the specifications outlined in Sections B through J of the solicitation documents.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is set from March 2, 2026, to August 31, 2027. The contractor is required to begin work within 15 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and must complete all tasks within 550 calendar days.

Place of Performance
All construction activities will take place at Morefield within Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado.
