MEVE 218998, Rehabilitate Eight Residences and Mus   3

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the rehabilitation of eight residences and a museum at Chapin Mesa, located in Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado. The goal of this contract is to restore and preserve these historical structures, ensuring they meet current safety and accessibility standards while maintaining their historical integrity. This acquisition is being conducted as an unrestricted full and open competition, with a magnitude of construction exceeding $10 million.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various construction tasks including but not limited to: structural repairs, interior renovations, exterior restorations, installation of modern utilities while preserving historical features, site improvements, and compliance with all applicable regulations.

The work will require adherence to the specifications outlined in Sections B through J of the solicitation documents. Additionally, the contractor must submit a subcontracting plan upon request by the Contracting Officer (CO), addressing all fifteen elements required.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is from November 7, 2025, to May 11, 2027.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Chapin Mesa within Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado.
