Background
The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior (DOI), Denver Service Center (DSC), is soliciting proposals on a competitive ISBEE set-aside basis from all interested businesses having the capability to perform the work described below. Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument (LIBI) is located in central Montana and tells an important story that is best illustrated by the mission of the Park: To preserve and protect the historic and natural resources pertaining to the Battle of the Little Bighorn and to provide visitors with a greater understanding of those events which lead up to the battle, the encounter itself, and the various effects the encounter had on the two cultures involved.

Work Details
The project involves replacing the dilapidated visitor center facility at Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. The current visitor center has numerous deficiencies, including inadequate space for visitors, safety and building code issues, outdated systems, and accessibility problems. The new facility is expected to accommodate a minimum of 75% of the annual 300,000 visitors, provide an adequate interpretive experience, and address safety and accessibility standards. The project will require a negotiated firm-fixed price contract, with proposal receipt date to be established in the solicitation documents. A virtual pre-proposal meeting will occur at a time to be determined.
