LAKE 324894- LAKE Echo Bay Ramp Extension at Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Boulder City, Nevada
Background
The National Park Service (NPS), specifically the Denver Service Center (DSC), is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for construction services related to the Lake Echo Bay Ramp Extension project at Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Nevada. The goal of this contract is to ensure boating access by constructing a new boat launch ramp.

Work Details
The project involves constructing a gravel roadway and an in-water boat launch ramp that extends to a depth of 1000' AMSL. The ramp will be made of precast concrete panels arranged in 7' vertical sections, with water depths reaching up to 40 feet at the finish grade.

Key construction tasks include: dredging, over-excavation, grading, compaction, placement of engineered fill, and installation of pre-cast reinforced concrete panels. Notably, the use of coffer dams and blasting is prohibited during construction.
