LACL-229937- Demo Fuel Tank Farm

Background
The solicitation is for the demolition of the existing fuel tank farm in Port Alsworth, AK, located within Lake Clark National Park and Preserve. The project includes the removal of a 3000-gallon diesel tank and three 2000-gallon tanks, along with associated plumbing, electrical work, and fuel dispensing units. The contractor is required to dispose of the fuel. The contractor must have experience working in remote areas/conditions and demonstrate successful completion of similar contracts within the last five years.

Work Details
The work includes the removal of fuel tanks and associated equipment, as well as disposal of fuel. Before the issuance of Notice to Proceed, an administrative Pre-Construction Conference meeting will be arranged to discuss roles and responsibilities, key personnel, National Park Service regulations, documents required under the contract, subcontractors, labor standards provisions, modifications, payments to Contractor, payroll reports, technical issues, correspondence procedures, acceptance/rejection of work, construction meetings, submittal of shop drawings/project data/samples, accident prevention program/reporting, work schedule including Saturday/Sunday/holiday/night work, tentative construction schedule and Notice to Proceed.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from July 15th, 2024 to September 30th, 2024.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Lake Clark National Park and Preserve in Port Alsworth, AK.
