Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has issued a sources sought notice for the purpose of conducting market research to gain knowledge regarding the type of interested businesses and their qualifications. The BLM anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for the construction services for a shoreline stabilization project in Jupiter, Florida. The project site lies within the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area (ONA), along the Indian River Lagoon and Loxahatchee River. The primary purpose of this undertaking is to stabilize the shoreline, reduce or eliminate erosion, provide for public use where it is compatible with that purpose, and enhance aquatic and terrestrial habitats where possible.

Work Details
The construction services required include shoreline stabilization, reducing or eliminating erosion, providing for public use, and enhancing aquatic and terrestrial habitats. Interested businesses are requested to submit company information, business classification type, bonding capacity statement, experience and capabilities on projects of the same or similar size, scope, and magnitude, as well as existing marketing materials such as capability statements and brochures.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is 847 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in Jupiter, Florida in northern Palm Beach County.
