Description

IRA NEW FORK BLUE RIM INDIVIDUAL FENCE
The work includes converting an existing barbed wire fence to a wildlife friendly fence. The total length of fence is approximately 3.3 miles. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure that livestock does not cross through the opening between when the old fence is removed, and the new fence is constructed. The period of performance for the construction work is 08/15/2025-11/15/2025.
Specifics for the New Fork Blue Rim Individual Fence:
Location: T31N, R109W, Sections 22, 23, and 24
There are approximately 17,424 linear feet in this segment of fence to be removed and disposed of in accordance with the requirements in Section 02827, Fence Removal. There are approximately 17,424 linear feet of new 4-wire, all-wood post fence to be constructed in accordance with the drawings and Work Data Sheet. It is estimated to have each of the following:
-Eighteen (18) stress panels (H-braces),
-Two (2) end panels,
-Two (2) 3-post corners,
-Four (4) 16-foot wire gates, and
-Zero (0) new X-gate wildlife crossing gates.
Leave existing X-gate wildlife crossing gates.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. See the Attachments for the specifications.

- Email your signed quote package to: crystalm@blm.gov, with the title and solicitation number in the subject line, no later than the closing date. Include your Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number on your quote.
- You may put your prices on the SF-1442 form but must also fill out the Bid Schedule.
- Include enough description/information in order to determine technical acceptability.
