Industry Day SLBE 318279 Comprehensive Facility Rehabilitation on Manitou Islands
The National Park Service (NPS) - Denver Service Center (DSC) will be conducting an onsite Industry Day focused on construction and construction related contracting opportunities at North and South Manitou Islands at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Please see the attached notice for more information.
Background
The National Park Service (NPS) - Denver Service Center (DSC) is conducting an Industry Day to highlight an upcoming project at Manitou Islands in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The purpose is to solicit and gain industry input from all interested businesses capable of performing the work described. This is an upcoming requirement and is anticipated to be solicited within the next 3-6 months electronically on the website at www.SAM.gov.

Work Details
The Comprehensive Facility Rehabilitation on Manitou Islands aims to address a maintenance backlog spread over 33 historic structures, two ferry docks, and utility infrastructure. The project includes demolition of existing docks on North and South Manitou Islands, construction of new docks at historic locations, limited dredging, sewer/septic, water and electrical infrastructure repairs, historic building preservation maintenance including exterior envelope repairs to approximately 33 structures.
The project is a Design Bid Build Project.
