Exhibit Fabrication for Ninety Six National Historic Site
Background
The Ninety Six National Historic Site (NISI) is a location of significant historical and archaeological importance, known for its role in the Revolutionary War. The site features the well-preserved Star Fort, a strategic fortification from the 18th century. The existing exhibits at NISI are outdated and damaged, necessitating a complete replacement of the first-floor exhibits at the visitor center. This contract aims to facilitate the fabrication and installation of new exhibits that align with the National Park Service's standards.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for providing all services necessary for exhibit fabrication and installation, including labor, materials, facilities, and travel. Key tasks include:

1. Detailing, fabricating, transporting to the site, and installing all exhibit elements according to specifications.
2. Coordination with the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and park staff.
3. Removal of existing exhibits by park staff.
4. Production of exhibits involving pre-fabrication submittals and fabrication phases.
5. Conducting shop inspections (preliminary and final), building preparation, primary installation, punch list completion, audio description integration, and project closeout.
6. Ensuring compliance with accessibility guidelines as per federal laws including the Architectural Barriers Act.
7. Submitting various documentation such as transmittal sheets for samples and proofs, electronic copies of documents, physical samples of models or prototypes, and adhering to specified submittal formats.
