Description

GAOA - Replace Multipurpose Building, Maintenance Shop, Cold Storage Building, and Maintenance Yard at Luster Heights NWR
Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) has issued a solicitation for the construction of multiple buildings at Luster Heights National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) located in Harpers Ferry, Iowa. The project includes the construction of a multipurpose building, maintenance shop, cold storage building, entrance road, maintenance road, visitor parking area, staff parking area, overflow grass parking area, and an optional gravel pathway.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the construction of multiple buildings at Luster Heights NWR. The project contains base and option work. The contractor must commence work within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete it within 730 calendar days. The performance period is mandatory negotiable. The solicitation also includes additional requirements for sealed offers and offer guarantees.

The period of performance for the contract is from March 28, 2024, to March 28, 2026.
