Description

Staff gauges will need to be installed covering 111 feet on Madera County side of Millerton Lake. 11 staff gauges will be 11 feet tall with 1 foot over lapping to the next staff gauge. Staff gauges will be surveyed by a third party licensed registered California surveyor and tied to existing benchmarks, and new benchmarks will be installed near each staff gauge. Accuracy should be within +/- 0.001 feet. The staff gauges will face Friant Dam to allow Reclamation personnel to read the staff gauges with binoculars while on top of the dam. All construction will be done above water surface. Lake elevation is projected to be around 470 ft at time of construction. Diving will not be necessary. Benchmark elevation will be provided a the time of award.
