Description

FOVA 310102 - Central Lot
Background
The National Park Service (NPS), part of the United States Department of the Interior, is seeking to conduct market research for a project located at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Clark County, Washington.

The goal of this contract is to improve the site's infrastructure while ensuring minimal impact on visitors during construction. The NPS anticipates issuing a request for proposals in the winter of 2024/2025 and aims to develop an acquisition strategy based on the responses received from interested businesses.

Work Details
The work consists of the removal of an existing asphalt parking lot and the construction of a new asphalt parking lot and access road.

- A new accessible ramp to building #754
- Stormwater catch basins and conveyance pipes
- Bioretention stormwater treatment facilities and infiltration drywells
- Site lighting
- Landscaping with shrubs and trees.

Additionally, there are bid options that include constructing a new asphalt road between buildings 752 and 753 (Pavement Option) and installing site lighting including luminaires, light pole bases, and conductors (Lighting Fixture Option). The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
