Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent based on prior award 140P2022C0128, awarded to Akron Building & Outdoor Maintenance for $17,959,952 (09/13/22–10/31/25). That design-build project involved stabilizing multiple riverbank sites along the Cuyahoga Valley National Park riverbank, including areas along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, using natural rock riprap and bioengineering techniques, with related design review/approval and construction documentation. The current CUVA 224822 work similarly focuses on riverbank stabilization along the Towpath Trail near mile marker 20, suggesting continuity in scope and methods.
