Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract focused on hazardous material and abandoned mine land response. The contract aims to address the need for effective management and remediation of hazardous materials and sites across various states, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

The BLM's mission includes protecting public lands and resources, which necessitates the involvement of contractors capable of handling complex environmental challenges.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a range of tasks including but not limited to: conducting site assessments, managing hazardous material incidents, performing cleanup operations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Specific tasks outlined in the Statement of Work include:
1. Conducting sampling, design, removal actions, and other related activities as specified in individual task orders.
2. Developing project-specific plans that address safety information, project scope, roles and responsibilities, data reporting requirements, quality assurance practices, and emergency response protocols.
3. Maintaining comprehensive records for all costs incurred under the contract for a period of 10 years post-completion.
4. Ensuring that all work complies with applicable federal regulations regarding hazardous materials management.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a five-year period from April 21, 2025 to April 21, 2030.

Place of Performance
The projects will take place across various states including Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Wyoming.
