CAVE 332397 ¿ Replace Main Distribution System   2

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of the Main Distribution System at CAVE 332397. The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and soundness of the distribution system to protect the primary park resource, which includes significant caverns located beneath the area. This project is part of a full and open competition with an estimated construction magnitude exceeding $10,000,000.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for replacing the entire Main Distribution System rather than conducting piecemeal repairs. This includes all necessary construction tasks associated with the installation of a new distribution system that meets current standards and regulations. The work must adhere to specifications outlined in sections B through J of the solicitation documents, including any attachments referenced therein. The contractor must also comply with all federal, state, and local tax requirements as part of their proposal.

Period of Performance
The contractor is expected to begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award and complete all work within 390 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
