BLM-CO Mud Springs Campground Improvements - Sources Sought
The Bureau of Land Management is seeking well qualified small business vendors for a recreation area improvement project.
This is a sources sought notice, not a request for proposals, quotations or an invitation to bid. No solicitation, specifications or drawings are available with this announcement. Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to announcement or any follow-up information requests.
If you have the necessary technical qualifications to include experience, technical competence, resources capability to perform along with recent and relevant past performance on projects of similar size and scope, we would like to hear from you in the next 10 days. Based upon responses, we may set this procurement aside for a socioeconomic sub-category in accordance with FAR Part 19.

The Government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement for a Firm Fixed Price contract on a Low Price Technically Acceptable basis. We are planning for proposals to be due in July with an award in early to mid-August. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a competitive set-aside. Misrepresentation of size status can result in penalties. All firms should be registered and active in www.SAM.gov. Analysis of the quality of responses to this announcement will be considered in the market research being conducted, and in the making of any small business set-aside determination for this requirement.
Summary of Work:
Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, for the demolition and disposal and/or salvage of items within an existing campground including but not limited to the removal of precast concrete toilet buildings/vaults, buried water tanks and items associated with a water system, tables, fire rings, fencing, and miscellaneous isolated items. Work also includes to the installation of new precast concrete toilet buildings, buried water tank and water system, tables and fire rings, post and cable fencing, boulder retaining walls and individual boulder placement, construction of parking areas and picnic areas, placing crushed aggregate surfacing onto prepared roadways and parking areas, constructing concrete parking areas and walkways, and other miscellaneous work associated with a campground.
