Background
The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior (DOI), Denver Service Center (DSC), is soliciting proposals on a Women-Owned Small Business Set-Aside from all interested businesses having the capability to perform the work described. The project is located at Big Cypress National Preserve, FL. The construction magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The anticipated period of performance is 365 calendar days including any potential weather shutdown.

Work Details
The Fire Station Operations Center project will construct a facility to house activities for the NPS fire program. This includes a 5,142 sf single story pre-engineered metal building that contains offices, kitchen/break area, physical fitness gym, storage cache, bathrooms, conference room, mechanical/electrical/IT room, and other administrative spaces. HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems are included.
Exterior includes an ADA entry ramp and sidewalk, parking lot, driveway, stormwater management pond, and utilities.
The wastewater system will include a gravity sewer line, lift station, and force main. There are options to construct an outdoor covered exercise/parking area and photovoltaic system.
