Background
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin (MB) Region, Eastern Colorado Area Office (ECAO), is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for a contemplated construction project titled Arkansas Valley Conduit (AVC) Boone Reach 2. This requirement is being procured under Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations as a full-and-open competition. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a competitive solicitation for this requirement.

Work Details
The work consists of constructing approximately 5.4 miles of 30-inch potable water transmission pipe, including wash crossings, jack and bore crossings, road cuts and restoration. The contractor is responsible for staging areas, investigations before construction, installation of sectionalizing, air, and blowoff valves, sampling stations, delivery vaults and associated improvements, relocation of utilities as needed, grading, cuts, fills as required, flushing and testing installed piping, and site equipment from three Government-furnished equipment supply contracts.

Place of Performance
The work begins west of Avondale Boulevard along Colorado State Highway 96 (SH96) in North Avondale, Colorado in Pueblo County and continues east along SH96 to end just east of the intersection of South Higgins Avenue and East 1st Street in Boone, Colorado.
